About Laura Lee

Before transitioning into her work as a freelance writer, speaker, author, and life change coach, Laura Lee worked as an academic librarian, teacher and researcher at four major universities for over 25 years.

With bachelor and master degrees in Chinese language and history, Laura Lee spent years living in East Asia.  In 1995 she earned an M.A. degree in transpersonal counseling psychology from Naropa University.  She now provides life change coaching for those working to change their perspective and their world.

In 2006, Laura Lee began her work as a freelance writer.  Please see her clips.  Her investigative reports and profiles have since appeared in American History Magazine, The Coloradan Alumni Magazine, The Erickson Tribune, Healing Path Magazine, Journey Magazine, Lydia's Style Magazine, Wild West Magazine, and WOW-Women on Writing.  She is a proud member of the Colorado Authors' League.

She also enjoys writing about the many fortuitous misfortunes she has experienced in the past few years, like divorce and job loss, which led to career change, self-discovery, finding love in mid-life, and home improvement as spiritual healing. Humor and wisdom gained are the themes of these essays.
