"Reflections on Remote Embodied Practice," Presented by the Arts at Amherst Initiative

The Arts at Amherst Initiative is pleased to present a faculty panel on how embodied practice has transitioned to the remote learning environment. Join us for a conversation with Riley Caldwell-O'Keefe, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning; Christopher Durr, assistant professor of chemistry; Jenna Riegel, assistant professor of theater and dance; Jason Robinson, associate professor of music and chair of the music department; and Kathy Couch, lighting manager in the theater and dance department.

Poetry in the Pandemic

In the time of uncertainty and anxiety, poetry brings us hope, inspiration and reflection. Have you been reading or writing poems in the pandemic? Watch an online showcase by students in the Amherst College video production classes "Foundations in Video Production" and "Films That Try: Essay Film Production." Both showcases will go live at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 11, and will be accessible until Sunday, May 31.
